Guaranteed to be the best newsletter in your junk folder every week

  1. Our new podcast short WE CAN’T MAKE THIS VIDEO made its debut this past Wednesday.

Not every script can get filmed. Whether it's budget constraints, a wildly necessary celebrity cameo, or an unreachable location, there's plenty of reasons comedy can't get made. But that's not going to stop us from subjecting you to our humor. Each episode we do a table read of our favorite sketch we've written, but can’t produce

You can listen to it on Spotify, Google Podcasts, and Anchor

  2. Stickers! Last week we gave away a batch of FREE Grapefruit Bubbly stickers to our first group of subscribers. Don’t fret if you missed out; We’ve still got a few left. All you have to do is fill out this form and tell us where to send it.

  3. The lines between comedy and horror will often blur. Whether shrieks or laughs, both genres are determined to garner an involuntary audible reaction out of it’s audience.

The movie SCARE ME (2020) illustrates just how intertwined these genres are. Written, directed, and starring former CollegeHumor heavyweight Josh Ruben, featuring Aya Cash (The Boys, You’re the Worst) and Chris Redd (Saturday Night Live), the movie delivers just as many frights as it does chuckles.

From Letterboxd: During a power outage, two strangers tell scary stories. The more Fred (Josh Ruben) and Fanny (Aya Cash) commit to their tales, the more the stories come to life in the dark of a Catskills cabin. The horrors of reality manifest when Fred confronts his ultimate fear: Fanny is the better storyteller.

The movie can be streamed for free with a subscription to Shudder or purchased on Amazon Prime.

  4. Fellow Toronto Sketch Fest sketch group Christian & Nat (Natalie Metcalfe, Christian Smith) had one of our favorite sketches from the festival.

We’ll think you’ll really enjoy it too! HANDYMAN (ft. Kevin Vidal)

You can also follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
