Hello and welcome to this weeks edition of the Grapefruit Bubbly newsletter. We’re trying out a new format Short, Special, Social, (SSS). If you like it let us know!
There are lots of opportunities to see live comedy including Grapefruit Bubbly coming up around the Madison area.
Tonight (Friday, Jan 28th) is the Roast of Jake Snell. Jake Snell is a local Madison comedian who is moving to Chicago at the end of the month. In honor of his departure he is being roasted by a whole cast of Madison Comics in the style of a Comedy Central Roast. Hosted by Natasha Pearl Hansen, the show is at The Bur Oak tonight starting at 8:30. Check out the Facebook event for more information.
On February 10th, Olivia Witt will be performing at Riley Tavern in Verona. It’s a free show, featuring comics from all over the midwest! Show is at 7:30pm
Comedy for a Cause is taking place at World of Beer in Middleton on February 16th. Hosted by Patrick Rohde, it’s a fantastic lineup featuring Olivia Witt, Craig Smith, Will Isenberg, and Jared Porter. Tickets are $30 and include food!
